Final Cafeteria Plan Regulations May Be Released Soon; EBIA Has Tentatively Scheduled its Web Seminars!

The final cafeteria plan regulations have been on our radar all year and may be released by early July. If so, EBIA will be ready right away with the analysis you need!
Save these dates:
- July 22, 2009. If regulations are released by early July, we’ll cover the general rules (including the rules on elections, flexible spending arrangements, and substantiation of expenses) in a web seminar on this date.
- August 5, 2009. If regulations are released by early July, we’ll cover the nondiscrimination rules in a separate web seminar on this date.
Speakers will include John R. Hickman, a partner in the Employee Benefits Practice Group with Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta and a contributing author of several of EBIA’s manuals, including EBIA’s Cafeteria Plans manual; and Susan Monkmeyer, a Senior Editor with Thomson Reuters/EBIA and the editor and a contributing author of EBIA’s Cafeteria Plans manual.
