EBIA names CEO and Editor-in-Chief
The Employee Benefits Institute of America Inc. (EBIA), a privately held publisher and seminar provider serving employee benefits professionals since 1988, has named a new CEO.

Cheryl Musselman-Brown joined the company in 1999, and prior to her appointment as CEO, she was EBIA’s President and Editor-in-Chief. Ms. Musselman-Brown replaces Thomas McCormick as CEO. Mr. McCormick remains active in the business as EBIA’s Founder and Chairman. EBIA also named Katherine Alexander as its new Editor-in-Chief.
Ms. Musselman-Brown, Mr. McCormick, and Ms. Alexander were employee benefits attorneys for many years before joining EBIA. In all, EBIA employs 12 attorneys in its editorial group. And over 20 practicing employee benefits attorneys around the country serve as EBIA contributing authors.
Through its nationally recognized publications and seminars, EBIA continues to “Help Employers and Advisors Know the Law” (sm).
