John W. Haine (since 2008). Mr. Haine is a Senior Editor at Thomson Reuters/EBIA. Prior to joining Thomson/EBIA, he practiced employee benefits law for more than 20 years, most recently as a shareholder at Kelly, Hannaford & Battles, P.A., and before that as a Special Partner at the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney, LLP. He graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1983.

Katherine J. Alexander (since 2006). Ms. Alexander is Senior Director, Benefits Publications at Thomson Reuters/EBIA. Before joining EBIA, she practiced law for 19 years, primarily in the employee benefits area. She was a partner in the Seattle law firm of Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland. Ms. Alexander received her law degree in 1984 from the University of Washington, where she was a member of the editorial staff of the Washington Law Review.
Cheryl Risley Hughes (since 2006). Ms. Hughes is Of Counsel with the Groom Law Group, Chartered, an employee benefits law firm located in Washington, D.C. Ms. Hughes serves on ECFC’s Technical Advisory Committee. She has an L.L.M. degree in Taxation and a Certificate of Study in Employee Benefits Law from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1995.
