Kyle T. Murray (since 2006). Mr. Murray is an Editor at Thomson Reuters/EBIA. Before joining Thomson Reuters/EBIA, he practiced employee benefits law with an Atlanta-based labor and employment law firm. Mr. Murray received his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was a Note & Comment Editor on the Iowa Law Review. He also holds an LL.M. degree in employee benefits law from Chicago’s John Marshall Law School.

Brigid Carroll Anderson (since 1997). Ms. Anderson is Director, Seminars at Thomson Reuters/EBIA. Ms. Anderson is an employee benefits attorney who has advised employers, multiemployer trusts, trustees and plan participants on ERISA compliance and in ERISA litigation. Ms. Anderson received her J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law cum laude and graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York.
Darcy L. Hitesman (since 1999). Ms. Hitesman is a principal shareholder and Director of Hitesman & Associates, P.A. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a frequent speaker to legal and non-legal audiences regarding welfare benefit plan issues. Ms. Hitesman received her J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School cum laude in 1987 and graduated summa cum laude from Coe College in Iowa in 1984.
James D. O’Connell (since 2008). Mr. O’Connell is a Partner in Jacobs, Burns, Orlove, Stanton & Hernandez, representing employee benefit plans as both counselor and litigator. He was previously an Asst. U.S. Attorney for the N. Dist. of Illinois and General Counsel to the Hotel Employees Int’l Union Pension and Welfare Funds. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and received his law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1979
Nancy A. Strelau (since 2006). Ms. Strelau is a Shareholder of Brownstein Hyatt Farber & Schreck, LLP and a member of its employee benefits practice group. Her work encompasses the full range of employee benefits, including the design, implementation, and administration of health and welfare plans, cafeteria and flexible spending accounts, and fringe benefits programs. Ms. Strelau received her J.D. degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 1992.
Virginia L. Briggs (Editor/Contributing Author, 2004-2006). Ms. Briggs is a Senior Editor at Thomson Reuters/EBIA and is currently the Editor and a Contributing Author to EBIA’s COBRA: The Developing Law.
