Susan R. Monkmeyer (since 2005). Ms. Monkmeyer is a Senior Editor at Thomson Reuters/EBIA. She also serves on the ECFC Technical Advisory Committee. Before joining EBIA, Ms. Monkmeyer practiced law for fifteen years, primarily in the employee benefits area. She has also taught employee benefits as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law. She received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin cum laude in 1986 and was an articles editor for the Wisconsin Law Review.

Jean M. May (since 2005). Ms. May is the Managing Editor-Benefits at Thomson Reuters/EBIA. She received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 1998.

John R. Hickman (since 1996). Mr. Hickman is a partner in the Employee Benefits Practice Group with Alston & Bird in Atlanta. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White 2007) and serves as chair of the ECFC Technical Advisory Committee. Mr. Hickman received his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1989.
Sharon R. Cohen (since 1999). Ms. Cohen is Health Care Counsel for Watson Wyatt Worldwide in Washington D.C. She serves on the ECFC Technical Advisory Committee and previously worked in the IRS Chief Counsel’s office responsible for cafeteria plan issues. Ms. Cohen received her law degree from George Washington University Law School in 1990.
Jeff Belfiglio (since 2002). Mr. Belfiglio is a partner in the Bellevue, Washington office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP emphasizing his practice in the employee benefits field. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White 2007). Mr. Belfiglio received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1982, and was awarded the Order of the Coif.
Beth D. Alcalde (since 2009). Ms. Alcalde is a member of the Employee Benefits Group with Akerman Senterfitt in West Palm Beach, Florida. Ms. Alcalde received her law degree from Harvard Law School in 1999.
