What articles get searched?
Our search engine searches all of the articles in our EBIA Weekly archives, including articles and questions of the week, back to February 2000.
Can I search by citation?
Yes. The search engine will retrieve articles if your search term appears in the citation.
Can I read the articles?
The search feature returns the headline and an excerpt for each article retrieved as a result of your search terms. Premium Access subscribers can click on the title of an article to read the entire article.

Can I search using a partial word?
Yes. For example, the term “account” will pick up articles with the word “account,” “accounts,” and “accountant.”
Is the search feature Case Sensitive?
No. For example, the terms ‘COBRA’ and ‘cobra’ yield the same search results.
Can I search for articles that contain two or more words?
Yes. If you enter two or more words, the search engine will return articles that contain both words (in any order). For example, the terms COBRA and FSA will return articles that contain both of those words. The results will not be limited to articles that contain the phrase “COBRA and FSA.”
Can I search for articles that contain an exact phrase of two or more words?
Yes. If you enter a phrase containing two or more words within quotes, the search engine will return articles that contain that exact phrase. For example, the phrase “COBRA notice” will return articles that contain the exact phrase “COBRA notice” but not articles that contain the words “COBRA” and “notice” in separate sentences or in a different order.
