No Copying, Downloading, Posting, etc.

No content from EBIA’s website or from its publications may be copied, downloaded, stored in a retrieval system, modified, used to create derivative works, or reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photographic, photocopied, recorded, scanned, or otherwise, without EBIA’s prior written permission. No content from EBIA’s website or from its publications may be posted or used on other websites, intranet sites, bulletin boards, news services, message groups, or in any other manner, in whole or in part, without EBIA’s prior written permission. It is unlawful for anyone to participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit any content of EBIA’s website or its publications without EBIA’s prior written permission.

Printing for Personal Use

You may print one hardcopy of a few pages of content from this website or from our publications for your personal use, which may include sending the printed pages to a co-worker or client who has requested information from you (but you must warn him/her in writing that copyright law prohibits him/her from redistributing to anyone else). Other than the above, you may not print pages and/or distribute content from EBIA’s website or publications without EBIA’s prior written permission.

Licensing an EBIA Weekly Article

For $485 per article, you can purchase a license that permits you to reprint an article from the EBIA Weekly in your electronic or print newsletter and/or post it on your Web site for one year. Licenses for reprint will require that articles be reprinted “as is” without modification and that they include the following language:

“This copyrighted article originally appeared in the [date] EBIA Weekly and is reproduced with the permission of EBIA.”

Please send an e-mail to infodesk@ebia.com identifying what article you wish to license and for what purpose.

Premium Access License

If you are a Premium Access subscriber, your use of EBIA’s Premium Access site is subject to the terms and conditions of a Premium Access license agreement.

Seminars

EBIA’s seminars are copyrighted. Tape recording is not allowed. Seminar materials are subject to the copyright restrictions discussed above with respect to publications.

Requests for Permission

Requests for permission other than a request to license an EBIA Weekly article should be addressed to infodesk@ebia.com. Include the following information:

  1. the content you wish to use
  2. a description of the planned use, including quantity and the intended recipient(s)

Please allow several days for a reply. In many cases, permission will be granted only if a license agreement is purchased.

Damages

The unauthorized use, submission, or distribution of copyrighted or other proprietary content is illegal and could subject the violator to personal liability for damages in a civil suit resulting from any infringement of copyrights or other proprietary rights, or from any other harm arising from the unauthorized use, submission, or distribution.
